Coastal Explorations is a multi-layer project in which Key Stage 3 students from 3 schools work together to create professional standard short films inspired by the North East coast.

Over seven months, students take part in fortnightly workshops exploring the history, geology, politics and people of the Northumbrian coastline.

Coastal Explorations will host its premiere in Newcastle in Summer 2026.
