The poster for our Durham project, The Pitman’s Parliament Project.

Children from across the Durham coalfield explore the Durham Miners’ Association’s magnificent headquarters at Redhills. Working together with brass musicians, a theatre company, a fine artists and the Parliamentary Archives, the children discover stories from the history of the Durham coalfield, help each other to decode the 1842 Mines Act, and create their own personal banners.

Designed by Kamilla Vinther, this poster is printed to order (so it may take up to two weeks to arrive with you).

The poster is 50x70cm, and printed on high quality 200gsm satin paper. The poster will not arrive framed.
