Our primary education work is bespoke to Year 6 pupils and focuses heavily on transition by bringing together up to five primary schools within a local area.

We offer week-long projects which take place in a heritage location close to all participating primary schools. Over the course of the project, pupils work together with professional artists and musicians to create a performance piece exploring stories from their local history, and how these stories are connected to our lives today.

We work in partnership with local archives, museums, Universities, libraries, and other sites of interest to delivery the project. This means we’re able to take participating children on exciting trips to places where they can learn more about their heritage and take part in bespoke activities and workshops.

Where possible these projects are offered free of charge. If we ask for a contribution from the the participating school, we try to keep this as low as possible. We also try to subsidise or cover the cost of coach travel if it is needed.
