Battery Stairs Theatre is an opportunity for students to work with professional actors and theatre makers on a weekly basis throughout term time. As well as rehearsing and performing plays, students will get the chance to write and create new work together with writers, directors, musicians, sound and set designers. Each year will include a number of public performances in theatre spaces in and around Newcastle, in addition to ad hoc opportunities at theatre festivals in the region.
